Are you ready to put your sandwich making skills to the ultimate culinary test? The hunt for the world's most delicious and creative sandwich begins today (27th March 2023) as the ingredients brand Cooks&Co invites foodies and sandwich lovers across the UK to compete in its Worldie Sandwich competition.
The winner of this coveted award will not only achieve the fame and glory of being crowned the Worldie Sandwich Competition Champion 2023, but they will also take home a cool £2,000 cash prize and a year’s supply of Cooks&Co ingredients*. Second place wins £250 and third place wins £100, plus a hamper of Cooks&Co goodies for both runners up. Terms & conditions apply*
How to enter?
From baguette to brioche and tofu to turkey this competition invites people to let their sandwich creativity run wild and explore a world of flavour.
To enter participants need to create a Worldie sandwich using at least one ingredient from the Cooks&Co core range which includes, Sweety Drop Peppers, Tri Colour Jalapenos, Roasted Red Peppers, Green Chillies, Dried Porcini Mushrooms and Vegan Stuffed Peppers. They may also use any other products from the Cooks&Co range. There is a world of possibilities to choose from!
Next, simply upload a video/image of your Worldie sandwich creation by 1st May 2023, along with the ingredients and method as a feed post to one social media channel (Instagram, Facebook or TikTok) using the campaign hashtag #WorldieSandwichComp (ensuring your account is set to ‘public’).The top 5 Worldie sandwich creations as chosen by the judges will then go through to the semi-final online public vote taking place via website between 18.05.23 until 23:59 on 01.06.23. The three entries with the most votes will then be invited to the live final on 20th June to cook for the judges.
Judges Jo Pratt and Ollie Eats will be sharing lots of hints, tips, and sandwich inspiration on their social media channels to help excite and inspire potential contestants.
