Chili Chicken Shawarama Flatbread - Recipe

Green Chili Chicken Shawarma


2 chicken breast fillets, shredded 400g)

4 Cooks&Co Green Frenk Chillies, 2 sliced, 2 whole

2 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp ground cumin

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp paprika

1 lemon

2 flatbreads (200g)

4 tbsp houmous (100g)

Natural yoghurt and coriander leaves to garnish

Cooking Time: 5 minutes plus 10 minutes plus marinating
Serves: 2

Green Chili Chicken Shawarma

Preparation Method

1. Mix the chicken with the oil,  garlic, spices, lemon zest, and sliced chillies, season and marinate for 10-15 mintues.

2. Heat a large frying pan and fry the chicken for 5 minutes until golden and cooked through,

3. Warm the flatbread according to pack instructions and spread with the houmous.

4. Sprinkle over the lettuce and top with the cook chicken. Serve topped with a spoonful of yoghurt, coriander leaves and whole chillies, with lemon wedges on the side.
